IMPORTANT New Year's Day Schedule Change

Wednesday, December 28, 2011
Please, please, please do not forget the following schedule change! We will be joining our larger family at PORTICO (1814 Barbertown Rd) on New Year's Day.  Many of our key volunteers were not going to be available for January 1st and so, rather than put the weight of all of the setup and tear down and tech responsibilities on a very small group, we have decided to enjoy the blessing of being with our larger family for one more Sunday.

However - I would love to connect with as many of our PORTICO Milton group as possible on that Sunday morning, Jan. 1st, 2012. So here is what we are doing. At 10:30am on January 1st I would like all of you to join me in Rm. 108 at PORTICO for coffee and fellowship, but also, and most importantly, to gather for a brief time of corporate prayer as we begin a brand new year asking God to continue to be with us and show us His favour and blessing as we move our fledgling campus forward.

I have timed this so that, whether you are coming to first or second service, it will still be convenient for you to join us.  Please pass this information on to anyone you know who has been coming to PORTICO Milton as we want to make sure everyone knows about the change.

Have a Blessed New Year!

Pastor Jeff

'Tis the Season

Friday, December 23, 2011
I am excited to share this post with you...the second one this week! I know that you are all still reveling in the fact that we now have a shared facility in our future. This truly is the best Christmas gift I've received in quite a while and I am so grateful for God's incredible faithfulness.

But I also need to update you on the single mom and her family whose home was flooded that we had wanted to make a contribution towards.

I have a story to tell you.

First let me thank all of you for your incredible generosity at this Christmas season and the way you responded to this need. Truly this is what the Christmas season is all about.

Having said that, I need to explain something. In spite of the fact that I confirmed what details I knew of the story with this ladies sister last Sunday, apparently I didn't have ALL of the information.

When I phoned today to go and deliver the gift that we had collected for her and her family, she very respectfully declined our help. She explained it this way. First, the insurance company had, in fact, come through with partial coverage for the damages to their home. Not enough to cover the damages, but some.  Second, she has been working extremely hard and long hours to pay the bills that would allow her and her family to get back into their home (as I mentioned last Sunday) AND she has been able to get them back into their house in time for Christmas, which has been her goal all along and is her Christmas gift to her kids.  She has taken a great deal of pride in the fact that she has been able to accomplish this herself and doesn't want anything to detract from that, which I can totally understand.  She suggested that there are a lot of people who need the help more than she does.

I can only appreciate where she is coming from and honour her wishes. I have made contact with those who made donations in order to explain the ramifications of this. For those who gave anonymously, your donations will be directed to our 'Benevelonce' fund which is used to help families in need receive counseling and practical and financial assistance throughout the year.

Again - thank you for your incredible generosity in this situation. Even though it didn't work out for us to bless this lady, I am so pleased at the Christ-like way in which everyone responded so readily.

I look forward to seeing many of you at PORTICO (1814 Barbertown Rd.) this weekend at one of our Christmas Eve services, 6pm or 8pm, and/or on Christmas morning at 10:30am.

IMPORTANT SCHEDULE CHANGE
I also need to make you aware of one other schedule change! PLEASE NOTE that we will also now be joining our larger family at PORTICO (1814 Barbertown Rd) on New Year's Day.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

It's Official!

Monday, December 19, 2011
Praise God...It's official. The Milton Christian School (MCS) has been awarded the tender for the former Bruce Street Library building AND Milton Town Council has passed it in their meeting tonight (Monday).

This is truly an answer to prayer.  MCS had been informed that the church where they currently meet was no longer going to be available to them and were in desperate need of finding a new suitable location. The library building will not only work very well for the school but will give them room to grow.

It is also great for us at PORTICO Milton because MCS has invited us to share the facility for our purposes on Sundays. We are excited to partner with MCS in this venture and look forward to having a more 'permanent' space. God is GOOD!

We hope to see as many of you as possible at one of the two Christmas Eve services at PORTICO 1814 Barbertown Rd this Saturday (6pm and 8pm). Also don't forget our Christmas Day service at 1814 Barbertown Sunday at 10:30am.

Last but not least, if you would like to give something toward the single Mom and her family that we mentioned this past Sunday, you can drop off donations at the PORTICO office up until Thursday this week. This is a fantastic opportunity to bless a family this Christmas.

Merry Christmas Everyone,

Pastor Jeff

Twas' the Sunday Before Christmas

Thursday, December 15, 2011
Well hello everyone. I trust that you enjoyed your surprise last Sunday. I am sure that all of you were thrilled to re-connect with Pastor Doug and have him preach at the campus. We also had a great time re-connecting with the main campus. But that's enough of that.

This Sunday we are all back to normal. No...I didn't say that Pastor Doug is not normal. I just...well... oh never mind!

This Sunday we will continue our series 'Making Sense of Christmas'. We look forward to enjoying your company once again and challenge you to invite a friend. We will be sharing the gospel message in a clear and concise way, inviting anyone present to say 'Yes' to Jesus. After all - that is our mission. 'Helping people find their way back to God'.

Here are a couple of items to remember:
  • You prayed last Sunday for Mark Dennis who had a heart attack very early Sunday morning. Praise God, Mark went on Monday to Trillium Hospital and had the blockage diagnosed and a stint put in to rectify the problem and he is going home today! There will be months of after care, so please keep Mark and Arlene in your prayers. We rejoice at God's hand on Mark's life!
  • We expect to hear some news on Monday December 19th about the former Bruce St. Library property. Please continue to pray.
  • Christmas Eve, December 24, we will be joining PORTICO at the main campus, 1814 Barbertown Rd. Mississauga for one of two Christmas Eve Candlelight Services, 6pm or 8pm.
  • Christmas Day, December 25, we will also join the main campus for a 10:30am Christmas Day Service.
  • Back to normal schedule on January 1. 10:15am at the Best Western Milton Inn.
God bless and we'll see you Sunday!

Pastor Jeff

December Musings

Friday, December 9, 2011
Wow...it has been over two weeks since I last posted. It seems that either forgetfulness, or the busy-ness of the season has overtaken me. Possibly I could attribute it to a bit of both, but that's enough about that.

This is a wonderful season of the year with many opportunities to engage in conversations about faith. In every shopping mall and on every radio station, songs about the Saviour's birth are played alongside all the Santa and reindeer songs. There is an openness at this time of year to the story of the gospel more than at perhaps any other time all year long.

The angels words remind us of the simplicity of the story and they are indeed, good news for us - and for anyone else who will take them to heart. 'Do not be afraid, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord'  (Luke 2:10, 11)

This Sunday, we have a special surprise for you in PORTICO Milton, so make sure that you make an extra special effort to be there this week. And bring a friend.

Just a few reminders...
  • Christmas Eve Services Saturday Dec. 24, 6pm or 8pm at PORTICO, 1814 Barbertown Rd. Mississauga
  • Christmas Day Service Sunday Dec. 25, 10:30 am at PORTICO, 1814 Barbertown Rd. Mississauga
  • New Years Day Service - back to regular schedule, 10:15 am at PORTICO Milton, Best Western Milton Inn.
Also - a brief update. As you know, a decision was supposed to be made Dec. 2 on the former Bruce St. Library property. The Town of Milton has pushed their decision back to Dec. 19th and so we encourage you to continue to fast and pray that this decision is made in favour of Milton Christian School getting the property so that we can share it with them! This would be a fantastic Christmas present for our new congregation.

Many Blessings,

Pastor Jeff

Christmas is Coming

Friday, November 18, 2011
I know. I can hardly believe it any more than you can. 37 days from today...I counted.

Here are some important things you should know about leading up to Christmas.

First - we are praying that our Christmas gift at PORTICO Milton will be an approval of our joint proposal with the Milton Christian School to lease the former Bruce St. Library building. The proposal has been submitted - but please don't stop praying and fasting. Representatives from the school will be invited to an interview in the near future with a recommendation going to the Town Council on Dec. 5th.

Second, we want to make sure EVERYONE gets a ticket to attend our annual 'One Hope Benefit Concert' on either Dec. 3 or Dec. 4. The proceeds of these events go to our 'One Hope' charities, which this year are International Justice Mission, WOW Christmas, and Life, Just Add Water (Life Campaign).  Headlining this year, along with our own PORTICO Mass Choir, will be Christian recording artist Sara Groves. You will not want to miss this! You can purchase your tickets online here.

Third, please note the following dates for our PORTICO Milton Christmas services:
  • Saturday December 24, 2011 - Christmas Eve Candlelight Service 6pm or 8pm at PORTICO Main Campus.
  • Sunday December 25, 2011 - Christmas Day Service at 10:30am at PORTICO Main Campus (no Christmas Day service in Milton)
  • January 1, 2012 - New Years Day service 10:15am at Best Western Milton Inn

Last, but not least, if you have been looking for an opportunity to have a meaningful conversation with  your neighbours about faith like we've been talking about in our most recent series, why not invite them to watch all or part of the special documentary series on CTS called 'Journey To Christmas'. It premieres the weekend of our 'One Hope Benefit Concerts' so I hope you will wait until the second airing on the weekend of December 17 & 18, but it would be a fantastic way to open the door to great conversations about faith this Christmas. Make sure you click on the link above to find our more about this unique opportunity.

Be Blessed,

Pastor Jeff

Prayer Update

Thursday, November 10, 2011
Last week I challenged you to fast and pray...pray that new people would begin to come in and fill the empty seats in our room and also pray that God would provide us the opportunity to partner with Milton Christian School to lease the former Bruce Street Library facility.

Let me give you a couple of brief updates. First, our attendance this past Sunday was 111 people - some of our empty seats have already begun to be filled.  Keep praying...it's working!

Second, Pastor Doug and I had the opportunity to walk through the Bruce Street Library property last Friday with Mike VanSlingerland and a couple other representatives from Milton Christian School. More than ever, I believe that this would be the perfect future facility for us to share. We were able to stand together inside the building and pray and believe that God will make this possible.  Please continue over the next week to fast and pray with us that the proposal to the Town of Milton will be successful when it goes in on Nov. 16th so that the decision on Dec. 5th will be made in favour of the Milton Christian School.

Last but not least - to wrap up the first message in our series 'Now That You Mention It: Sharing Your Faith and Keeping Your Friends' in which we talked about 'How to Break The Huddle', we challenged you to begin with small steps.  One of those steps was to get involved in something called 'Adopt a Street', a practical way for you to begin to intentionally pray for the people who live on your street.  If you haven't gone to the website yet to sign up and pray for your street, I'm including the information below so that you can do that.

Click HERE to go to the 'Adopt a Street' website.

STEP 1: Identify your street.
STEP 2: Register (you can edit later).
STEP 3: Connect with the PORTICO Milton prayer initiative.

Be Blessed,

Pastor Jeff

Turning Back the Clock

Thursday, November 3, 2011
Hi Everyone!

Just a friendly reminder that we will be turning our clocks BACK one hour on Saturday evening.

But don't worry.

If you forget - we meet in a hotel. You can always have breakfast in the restaurant while you wait for the service to start.

See you Sunday!

Pastor Jeff

The Future Beckons

Tuesday, November 1, 2011
We are now three Sundays in to the adventure that is PORTICO Milton. And what a great three Sundays they have been. An exciting launch, a meaningful communion service and prayer time, and last but not least, a phenomenal and timely challenge from a humble servant of God from the northern province of Bihar, India.

I am so grateful to God for sending Dr. Abu Matthew our way this past weekend. Listening to him share his amazing testimony of God's incredible faithfulness was just so incredibly moving. This is a man who served faithfully for seven long years with only a handful of people coming to Christ. Then in 2006, God challenged him to pray and fast and ask Him for 100 evangelists that year.  And in faith he challenged his friends and they prayed and fasted and that year God gave them 100 evangelists. The next year - 1,000 evangelists, the next year 10,000. What an amazing story! From 30 people gathering in 2006 to over 30,000 people gathering in 2011 in over 1,700 churches. Truly, this is a miracle story...and if you didn't get a chance to hear it, watch our website. It will be posted very soon.

Dr. Matthew faced incredible obstacles. The area where God called him to minister was predominantly Hindu - less than 0.1% Christian. Committed to the call, he believed anything was possible.

Our situation is challenging too. But it pales in comparison to what Dr. Matthew faced in Bihar. So here is what I'm thinking. We need to fast and pray and believe God for the answers to our challenges.

  • Currently we have seats in our main room for about another 70 people or so. And there are thousands of people in Milton who need to find their way back to God.
  • On November 16, a proposal will be presented to the Milton Town Council outlining a plan for the Milton Christian School, in partnership with PORTICO Milton, to take over the lease of the old Bruce Street Library building. This unique partnership would allow us incredible flexibility to do all kinds of ministry and would also give us a semi-permanent facility out of which to do it.

I'm asking if you will fast and pray at least one meal with me over each of the next three weeks for these two specific needs. So let's pray and believe together that God will give us opportunities to invite and bring people to PORTICO Milton who are on their journey back to God. And let's declare in faith that, God-willing, the Bruce Street Library will be made available to the Milton Christian School and ultimately, to our Campus family as well.

Will you fast and pray? Please let me know by commenting on this post in the 'Comments' section below or sending me an email and just say 'I'm in!'

The future beckons!

PORTICO Milton - First Time For Everything

Thursday, October 20, 2011
I'm still reveling in the afterglow of our first ever church service as PORTICO Milton last Sunday. God was so faithful as so many people showed up for what can only be described as a smashing success.

But I was thinking today, that last Sunday was only the beginning of many firsts for our PORTICO Milton Campus.

This Sunday, we will experience another first as a new campus family.  We will partake together in our first Communion Service. The Communion Service is such a meaningful time and I look forward to receiving the emblems together with all of you.  There is a very special spiritual connection that happens when we receive together and remember the death of our Saviour. I sincerely hope that you will be with us.

And let me just say - as many of the well-wishers who were with us last Sunday from our main campus return to PORTICO Mississauga this week, we will have some available chairs for new people to sit in. I hope you've had a chance to take advantage of some of those opportunities we talked about last Sunday.  Perhaps you even bridged a casual conversation to eternal possibility.

See you Sunday!

Pastor Jeff

A New Beginning

Sunday, October 16, 2011
Well...the day has arrived.

And this morning at 10:15am, we began our historic first church service as PORTICO Milton,  at the Best Western Milton Inn.  And what a fantastic time we had.

After so many have planned and prepared and prayed faithfully and then showed up early today to make sure everything was ready and just right, it is hard to believe that our first service has come and gone.

Including children, 182 people were in attendance for our inaugural service. We worshiped together, sensed God's presence and were, I hope, challenged from His Word.  And as we closed the service, 2 individual's said 'YES' to beginning to walk with Jesus, making Him the leader of their lives.

The grand finale came as we all eagerly participated together in the 'Power of Everyone', with each one who had set aside a tithe of one week's income bringing and offering it to the Lord on this momentous occasion.  I can't wait to find out what our totals are when we add it all up together, including what everyone did at the main campus today!

Reflecting this afternoon, I was humbled again to be a part of such an amazing effort. I was thinking that a few of us got to stand up in front and be a visible part of everything that was going on this morning. But there were so many other self-less individuals who sacrificed their time and energy to make today happen, and to all of you I want to say just one more time, a HUGE big THANK YOU.  Because without all of you serving in tech, as ushers, greeters and connectors, in set-up and tear down and in kids ministries and worship teams, today could not have happened.  I am reminded of Paul's letter to the Philippians.

Philippians 1:3-6
I thank my God every time I remember you.In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

I feel like today was an amazing beginning! Granted there is still much work to be done in the community of Milton as we all do our best to help people find their way back to God. But I also know that God who has begun a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Be Blessed,

Pastor Jeff

Thankful

Monday, October 10, 2011
Here are just a few things I am thankful for this Thanksgiving weekend.
  1. Time together with family and friends.
  2. Turkey...I love turkey dinner!
  3. PORTICO community church...I love our church and it's leadership and am so grateful for the love and support that I felt as we were prayed over and 'sent' yesterday to launch PORTICO Milton.
  4. A great and growing group of people who are joining us in Milton on this amazing adventure of faith.
  5. Awesome leaders and volunteers who are stepping up to fill the voids in this brand new Campus.
  6. A stirring sense of expectation in my spirit about what God has in store...'Let's do this!'
Today marks 6 days and counting to our launch. Once Sunday arrives - we will officially be a Church Campus of PORTICO in Milton.  Invite your friends and neighbours.  Don't forget to set aside your tithe on one weeks pay so that we can all participate together in 'The Power of Everyone' on Oct. 16.

See you Sunday...be blessed!

Pastor Jeff

Crunch Time!

Tuesday, September 27, 2011
Ok...it is now less than three weeks until our Milton Campus launch...18 days to be more precise.  As a matter of fact, I would say that 'crunch time' might even be an understatement.

Here is what is coming - and coming fast I might add!

This Saturday, a team of people will be putting on their walking shoes and heading out into the neighborhoods south of Derry Rd. between Bronte Rd. and Tremaine to hand out postcards to about 3,000 homes advertising the new PORTICO Milton Campus.  We are still looking for willing participants. You won't have to talk to anyone - just leave a card at their door. If you can help us we are meeting by the Tim Hortons in the plaza at the corner of Bronte and Derry Rd (Wild Wing on the corner) at 9:30am. We will form our teams and give route instructions here and then send you out to cover your routes. Please comment below or click here to send me an email if you can help us on Saturday. The more people we have, the faster we can cover the area.

This Sunday, October 2nd, our lead teams will be gathering in Milton at the Best Western Milton Inn, 161 Chisholm Drive (near Hwy 401 and Hwy 25) for our soft launch. All that really means is that we are going to do a trial run of a complete service this Sunday morning. Set-up teams will arrive early to get everything ready to go. Children's ministry teams will be on hand to meet together and get a feel for the rooms they will be working in. Ushering and greeting teams will do the same. Our worship team will rehearse beforehand and then at 10:15am we will have a full Sunday morning service.  Please be in prayer for us as we take this Sunday to try and work out any of the proverbial 'bugs' before we do our full launch on Sunday October 16th at 10:15am. You are more than welcome to attend at 10:15 am if you would like to help us by providing feedback afterwards. Please note that we will NOT be offering childcare at the soft launch.

Of course don't forget to be at PORTICO the next two Sundays (if you aren't with us for the soft launch) - but in particular, Thanksgiving Sunday, October 9th!  We want everyone who plans to be a part of the Milton Campus to be in church at PORTICO Mississauga on that day as we will all be commissioned as an extension and expression of PORTICO community church and officially sent out to the community of Milton to help people there find their way back to God.

Exciting days...this is really happening people!

Still looking for some committed people in all of the following areas:
  • ushering
  • greeting
  • setup & tear down
  • children's ministries
  • worship team vocalists/musicians
  • tech operators (training provided)
  • prayer team
  • connectors
  • CLG hosts & leaders
Comment below or click here to email me about serving in any capacity at our new campus. And please, please - don't forget to pray every day for God's favour as we take this incredible step to help people in Milton find their way back to God.

Blessings,

Pastor Jeff

New Sermon Series at PORTICO community church

Thursday, September 22, 2011
It is September 22...just 24 days and counting to our Milton Campus launch!  This is very exciting!

As we move toward that all-important day, let me encourage you to be in church at PORTICO in Mississauga these next three Sundays for an exciting new sermon series entitled 'reVISION'. On Thanksgiving Sunday, October 9th,  I want everyone possible who is committed to our Milton Campus to be in one of the morning services at PORTICO as we will be officially 'commissioned' and sent off as a new congregation to plant the new Milton Campus. This will be a meaningful and extremely exciting day! The series will culminate on Sunday October 16th  at 10:15am when we are together for our historic first service at the Best Western Milton Inn.  Don't miss these challenging messages that will rally our entire church around our mission, vision, and values and launch us forward toward an incredible future as we extend our reach to Milton and beyond!

Be Blessed,

Pastor Jeff

I Love It When A Plan Comes Together

Thursday, September 15, 2011
That was Col. John 'Hannibal' Smith's famous line in the 80's TV series 'The A-Team', also recently resurrected as a Hollywood movie.

But I love it when not just any plan comes together, but when God's plan comes together. As we edge closer and closer to October 16th and our Campus Launch in Milton, I am encouraged at every turn by evidence that God is leading and providing.  This past weekend as Eric Metcalf shared about the power of apprenticeship with all of our teams at PORTICO, there was a keen sense that our volunteers and leaders were catching the vision!

Over the weekend, many of you signed up to serve in various roles at our new campus and to all of you, I say a huge 'thank you'. I know there are still others who will step to the forefront in the days to come and I'm excited about all that God has in store for us ahead.

We are still in need of willing individuals to help as:
  • ushers
  • greeters
  • vocalists for worship
  • musicians
  • children's ministry workers
  • connectors
  • Community Life Group leaders or hosts
  • prayer team members
  • set up/tear down people
  • tech operators (audio, lighting, graphics)
Respond in one of the following three ways:
  1. Email me by clicking here.
  2. Leave a comment in the 'Comments' section below.
  3. Come and see me this Sunday at the PORTICO Milton table in the foyer.

Also - if you are interested in getting involved in the community through one of our member's Charity Garage Sale, check out my personal blog here.

Blessings,
Pastor Jeff

Calling Devoted Followers of Jesus

Friday, September 9, 2011
Today marks 1 month and 7 days to go until we launch our brand new campus in Milton, Ontario at the Best Western Milton Inn, Hwy 401 & Hwy 25. As your pastor at this brand new campus, I am both totally excited and just a tad bit terrified. Time is moving quickly!

One way you could help is by stepping up! If you have already indicated to us that you are on board and committed to this new expression of PORTICO in the town of Milton, thank you for that courageous first step! But now, I need you to do something else. I need leaders.  I need people who think they might be able to be leaders. I need people who are sure they could never be a leader to step out and help us form the teams necessary to make our first Sunday and the Sundays that follow, the absolute, most amazing experiences that they could ever be.

So...if you sing or play an instrument, TOMORROW morning (Sat. Sept. 10) at PORTICO, Pastor Dave would like for you to come and hang out with him between 9am and 12 noon so that you, and many others, can sing or play for him so that we can help you evaluate your next steps.  Don't be shy...remember, God gave you those gifts to use for His kingdom.

We are also looking for committed individuals who can help us in the following ways:
  • ushers
  • greeters
  • children's ministry workers
  • connectors
  • Community Life Group leaders or hosts
  • prayer team members
  • set up/tear down people
  • tech operators (audio, lighting, graphics)
You can respond to let me know of your willingness to serve in one of three ways.
  1. Email me at jfuters@theportico.ca
  2. Leave a comment in the 'Comments' section below.
  3. Come to the Milton Campus table at PORTICO on Sunday Sept. 11 after one of the services and sign up!
I look forward to partnering with in this great adventure!

In His Service,

Pastor Jeff

Prayer Points for Milton Campus

Thursday, August 18, 2011
First of all, thank you to all who showed up to pray in The Chapel last evening. Even though our number was small, I sensed the Holy Spirit with us in a very strong and encouraging way as we prayed.  For those of you who weren't able to make it out, I trust that you will continue to hold us up in prayer as we journey toward our launch in October.

Here are some prayer points for you to be remembering in your daily times with God:
  • The establishing of Community Life Groups in Milton.
  • Leadership teams.
    • Arts - we need vocalists and musicians to come forward in order to put together our worship teams for the Campus. We also need a skilled and gifted worship leader. This is one of our most critical needs!
    • Tech - individuals to run audio, lighting, graphics.
    • Hospitality - greeters, ushers, connectors.
    • Children's Ministries - Plan to Protect certified volunteers to work with our Children during the services.
  • Favour in the community.
  • Opportunities to serve the community.
  • Financial resources to fund the Milton Campus launch and ongoing operations.
You will note that finding a location is not on the list any longer. That is because of an answer to our prayers. We have been able to book 3 meeting rooms at the Best Western Milton Inn, at 161 Chisolm Drive near Hwy. 401 and Hwy. 25. God is faithful as we pray!

James 5:16b-18
'The prayer of a righteous man [or woman] is powerful and effective. Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.'

Pray earnestly, like Elijah did, and we will continue to see the answers to what we pray for!

Here we go!

Friday, July 29, 2011
Welcome to the new PORTICO Milton Campus Blog!

This is the place where we will regularly post updates and info about the new Milton Campus, along with some occasional inspirational messages from your friendly neighbourhood Campus Pastor!

Here are a couple of things you should know:

Our site has been secured and we will be meeting beginning Sunday, Oct 16, 2011 at 10:15 am at the Best Western Milton Inn in the Grand Room. We have a home!

The weekend of August 11–14, we have a unique opportunity to host a booth at the Milton Ribfest, where we will be holding a free prize draw for those who complete a brief survey. This will give us the opportunity to also promote the new Milton Campus Launch by way of a postcard we will be handing out.

There are two ways you can help us. First, you can donate prizes and/or cash to help purchase prizes. Second, you can help man the booth during the following hours:
  • Thursday, Aug. 11, 4:00–10:00 pm
  • Friday, Aug 12, 12:00 –4:00 pm, 4:00–8:00 pm, 8:00–11:00 pm
  • Saturday, Aug 13, 11:00 am–3:00 pm, 3:00–7:00 pm, 7:00–11:00 pm
